Ways to lessen your dementia risk
We have heard a lot lately about the growing incidence and impact of Dementia in Australia. This is due to the growing number of people ageing generally and better diagnosis of the disease. It is not all bad news however, as along with the statistics of dementia, there has also been a growing body of evidence which shows that a healthy lifestyle matters. Basically, if we keep the arteries in our brains as healthy as possible (through exercising and all the health benefits which come with it) the risk of dementia lowers.
