Gillian Traise is a highly experienced physiotherapist and fitness professional with 30 years of experience in physiotherapy, fitness programming education and working with older clients.
She has post graduate qualifications in health promotion, WHS and adult education and a Masters Degree in Physiotherapy with lower limb biomechanics as her specialisation. She has worked closely with Aged Care Facilities, Home Care )rganisations other health organisations to provide staff and client education, and programme designs for older clients. She is very familiar with impacts that illness and injury have on a person’s mobility and function as they age and is a skilled practioner in facilitating positive changes in health and well being in older clients.

The Institute of Healthy Ageing is an organisation committed to providing knowledge and skills to enable individuals to make decisions about their future as they age, which will improve and maintain their health and wellbeing and maximise their independence. The organisation is committed to provide evidence-based education & training to aged care workers, allied heath and fitness professionals to provide appropriate and effective exercise, mobility and falls prevention programmes.
The Institute of Healthy Ageing believes in working collaboratively with other private health providers and Aged & Community Care organisations, Medicare Locals, and Public & Private Primary Health Professionals and Hospitals to ensure that programmes offered to maintain health, mobility, strength and function, meets the needs of the local community and older people living in the community.
